Fit for the Future public consultation 2016: Special Board Meeting announced

A Special Board meeting has been arranged for Thursday, September 29th (click here for further information) to discuss the outcome of the CCG’s Fit for the Future public consultation on potential changes to the local Service Restriction Policy and Intermediate Care Services.

The Fit for the Future consultation closed on September 12th and all responses received by the CCG during the consultation, together with the feedback provided in a variety of public meetings and events, is now being compiled into a report to be discussed at the Special Board Meeting on September 29th.

The Board meeting will be held in the board room at Basildon and Brentwood CCG, Phoenix Place, Christopher Martin Road, Basildon SS14 3HG. The start time for the meeting is 1.15pm.

Copies of the agendas and public papers for the Special Board meeting will be available to download here prior to the meeting.

Basildon and Brentwood CCG Board meetings are meetings held in public rather than public meetings. Although members of the public are not able to participate in the decision-making process by speaking during debates, they can observe how the Board, which is led by GPs, make decisions on local health service issues. Nevertheless, there is an opportunity for people to put questions to the Board at these meetings.
