Mums wanted to help make a difference to maternity care

Basildon and Thurrock’s Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC) is looking for new volunteers.

If you’re a Mum who has used Basildon Hospital’s maternity services and have ideas about the way these services are offered, and you want to help make a difference, please get in touch with the MSLC.

Meetings of Basildon and Thurrock's Maternity Services Liaison Committee  take place every two months and as one of the volunteers you will have the opportunity to meet with commissioners and professionals to really improve services for mums and expectant mums.

The MSLC is having an open event at Northlands Park Children's Centre in Davenants, Northlands Park, Basildon SS13 1QX on Tuesday 15 March from1pm-2.30pm where you will be able meet other members of this friendly committee. Mums are encouraged to come along to find out more about the volunteering opportunity and bring other interested mums with them.

Fathers, grandparents, parents and community group leaders are also invited to volunteer for the committee.
