The local NHS or ‘elf’ service across mid and south Essex is supporting people to stay well this winter in a new campaign that sees an elf, ‘Ivanna Livewell’ share advice and support to help combat winter illness.
#IvannaLivewell is aimed at raising awareness of key winter health risks and offers advice on local health services available throughout December – as well as general self-care advice.
Caroline Rassell, Senior Responsible Officer for Locality Health and Care across mid and south Essex, said: “We want everyone in our area to live well throughout the year by staying active and healthy but over the coming weeks we also want people who might need help to know how and where to get it. We hope that people join in with the campaign and help us to spread important messages to keep people well this winter.”
“Throughout December, ‘Ivanna Livewell’ will be sharing advice and signposting to more information if you want it.”
Matt Rangué, Interim Chief Nurse at NHS Basildon and Brentwood Clinical Commissioning Group (BBCCG), said: “It’s great that an elf is joining our ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign to support those who are more vulnerable to illness during the colder season.
“We’ll be posting and sharing lots of stories about Ivanna Livewell the elf on the CCG’s Twitter and Facebook accounts to help our residents understand the actions they can take to stay well over the winter months.”
