ESCB Policies, Procedures and Practice Guidance
The ESCB has recently updated several pieces of practice guidance, which are available to download on their website. They have been highlighted below. Take a moment to make sure you are familiar with these documents and know where to access them.
All documents are available in the dedicated Practitioner section of their website called 'Working with Children'. There is a page called policies, where all existing and updated policies are available.

The Southend, Essex and Thurrock Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedures were last updated in September 2015. Further updates are likely in 2016 which we will keep you informed about.

Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) resources
The RCGP has produced two helpful leaflets - one for young people encouraging them to seek advice and one for parents explaining and reassuring parents as to why GPs may see young people on their own.
